Hesston Steam Museum is a unique outdoor museum featuring one of the most varied collections of steam equipment of its kind in the country. The collection includes stationary and traction engines, a steam-operated sawmill, and steam train rides on full-sized and scale model locomotives through 155 acres of natural meadows and forests. Open weekends with special events Memorial Day, Labor Day, and 2nd weekend in August.

The La Porte County Historical Society Museum is home to several permanent exhibits including:
- W. A Jones Collection of Ancient Weapons – encompassing nearly 850 weapons purchased all over the world.
- Kesling Auto Collection – consisting of more than 30 vintage automobiles ranging in age from a 1903 Winton to a 1982 DeLorean.
- Belle Gunness Display – A serial killer believed responsible for as many as 40 murders between 1884 and 1908.
